One of Salisbury Maryland’s Princesses returns home
The hometown Princess is returning.
Why do I call myself Princess ..well because that is a absolutely how my Grandmother Martie C Elzey treated me as did my Grandfather Robert T Elzey, lovingly known as Buddy in the community.
She was a school teacher in Wicomico County for 50 yrs , retired w honors but also cooked some of the best food you’ve ever tasted.
My grandfather built an antique and rental home empire. The first black landlord w that much real estate in Salisbury Maryland.
My mother Eunice Haywood was loved by many and also misunderstood by many, often including me. But make no mistake
I am a proud member of the Elzey Family of Rockawalkin Md and the Church family of Delmar Md.
Those people taught me character and good food.
I look forward to returning for a week and reconnecting w my roots.
