Vacation Foods we enjoyed
Hey Everyone. Sorry I have been absent for a while. I was dealing privately and mentally with some physical health issues.
I had a breast lump scare that so far has turned out to be nothing of concern but as a woman who lost her mother at age 57 to lung cancer, the thought of any cancer terrified me. I still have to have some other testing done for some uterine stuff on Sept 20th but my mind was locked in the spiral. Even with my mammogram coming back normal I am still a bit not myself.
I powered through a mini vacay with my youngest daughter and of course I made sure that her sweet 16 was nice. I had to, I wasn’t going to let what I was dealing with interfere with her joy.
The scare reminded me how nothing is promised and to live every day like it may be your last. My family also went to Helen Ga and saw some amazing waterfalls and I cooked some amazing dishes while there.
I don’t have it in me to write too detailed an entry since I made so many things but I hope you enjoy the photos and video.
A few things I made while we were in Helen Ga on Trinity’s Pre Birthday trip are below:
We had some delicious breakfasts, a super sized picnic sandwich and homemade spaghetti and meatballs.
Food, Family and fun were the theme.
(You can refer to some of my older entries for instructions and videos on how I make my sauce and meatballs.)
