Fried Flounder w Rice and Gouda Potato
Fried Flounder with Basmati Rice
Hey so this is a quicker blog entry for a quicker meal!
On this day I just wanted to make something that would not have a lot
of left overs since Memorial Day was around the corner and I didn’t want to have
a massive amount of leftovers.
The items you will need to create this are:
Smoked Paprika
Granulated Garlic
Zydeco Chop Chop
Lemon Pepper
Sazon Complete
and Dill
Roasted Eggplant slices
Potatoes
Gouda Cheese
Of course some salt
For my fish fry dreding I used flour mixed with most of the above mentioned items except the chop chop.
Flounder is a super flat and thin fish so it is easy to overcook it. Be careful and watch it as you fry it.
To bake the potatoes.
First with them whole and not cut I covered them in oil and baked for about 45 min in my oven. Next I took them
out and with an ice crem scooper dug up the middles but then placed them back in. Then added salt, pepper and placed
slices of gouda cheese on each potato and put back in oven and bake till gooey and brown.
Serve Fish on top a bed of the rice and place the potato to the side
Plate it all on a bed of arugula for color
and top with parsley and dill sprigs.
Yum!
