Super Rich Decadent Ground Beef and Cheese Scramble w Spicy Savory Apple Sauce Jam
You know me… putting new spins on familiar food.
For breakfast super rich, gooey cheese and ground beef filled scrambled eggs
My personal secret to my fluffy scrambled eggs…
A bit of heavy cream and 2 dollops of plain yogurt in 6 large eggs.
I always include salt and Old Bay lightly in my eggs.
And only the creamiest of cheeses, regardless of which cheese flavor you choose. I prefer Velveeta or Gouda for my eggs.
On top of a sauce or jam I made and reduced using, apple sauce, brown sugar, fennel, spicy gold mustard, scriacha and cream. It was sweet and salty w a little kick.
Next melted cheese on top of my grilled bread !
Garnished w raw fennel, green onion and picked onion.
Warm, savory and rich an decadent!
My life partner doesn’t have a big appetite but he smashed all of this. He said it tasted like a warm donut w filling with eggs! The apple sauce jam IT SLAPS!!
