Flavorful Meat
The first, most important step in flavorful meat is seasoning and marinating it first.
Now I know we may not always have the time or items needed for a great marinade but here are a few of my favorites:
Store bought ones like
A1
Old Bay hot sauce or Old Bay Marinade sauce
Teriyaki sauce
Worchester sauce
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Sweet Chili Sauce
Balsamic Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar
Any Italian Dressing
Ketchup
Mustard
Then comes part 2. You need to add season to the marinade:
Use any of these ..depending on the meat and or your flavor palette! Dont be afraid to mix your choices of seasonings and herbs.
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Blackening
All spice
Garlic
Curry powder
McCall’s steak seasoning
Saffron
Lemon pepper
Pink Himalayan Salt
Rosemary
Thyme
Sage
Basil
You can also create your own marinade using vinegar, salt,sugar, and citrus fruit juices.
I always let my meats marinate 2 hrs to 24 hours depending on what I’m cooking.
