Food photos and Video from Nov 8 Menu

Whew what a cooking whirlwind it was.

Food pictured here for promo cooked at my home. Food cooked for orders cooked at a shared food kitchen in the Gwinnett Area.

I Started my homemade BBQ sauce Saturday night. ( Photo of what I used to create it will be below)

I then made my own special pasta sauce full of meat and vine ripe tomatoes Sunday and continued to cook the rest of the Menu till 5 pm Sunday,.

(IF IN ATL FOOD SALES CONTINUE TODAY 11/9/2020)

As I have stated before.. I cook from sight, taste and memory more than exact recipe writing. But I am considering making my recipes as my own family has been asking for them for years.

I saw a meme the other day that said when black women cook we just listen for the voice of our ancestors to tell us “enough my child” lol.

Sometimes I really do feel like my Mom Mom is in the kitchen with me even though she’s long gone.

I made and very proudly I might say:

BBQ Chicken

Spaghetti and extra meaty sauce

garden salad ( fresh when you order)

Cucumber Tomato Salad ( fresh when you order)

Potato Salad (w mustard version)

My special old bay tarter sauce

My version of old bay home fries

Slow cooked collard greens

Cabbage w carrots

Fried Mackerel and Red Snapper

all comes with Bread

Side note : I am buying pre-cleaned fish next time. I hurt myself pretty bad on the spine of the Snapper fish ( OF COURSE TOOK A BREAK GOT THAT PATCHED UP, COVERED IN ANTISEPTIC AND WRAPPED UP, THEN CONTINUED COOKING W GLOVE ON) But boy does it still hurt. It’s still wrapped up. That sucker was sharp.

Everything turned out so good…
